Introduction
N-Ethylethanolamine is used in the preparation of novel indole-2-carboxamide and 3-acetamide derivatives for use as antioxidant protective agent.


It is also used to synthesize novel amino acid-based arginase inhibitors for the treatment of myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury.
